Job summary
Rockwell Automation, a global technology leader headquartered in Milwaukee, is hiring an Electronics NPI Technician to support New Product Introduction. You will program and support SMT, selective solder, and wave solder equipment, and develop tooling, fixtures, and processes for prototype manufacturing.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- 6+ years experience programming and supporting SMT, selective solder, wave solder
- Experience developing and executing NPI prototype builds
- Experience developing, specifying and ordering tooling/fixtures for prototype manufacturing
- Experience with work instructions, procedures, MOC documentation, PM, and troubleshooting
- Experience improving manufacturing processes and conducting DOE
Responsibilities
- Program and support manufacturing equipment, including SMT, selective solder, wave solder.
- Develop and execute NPI prototype builds to support product development and readiness.
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes; conduct DOE to optimize processes.
- Develop, specify, and order tooling/fixtures for prototype manufacturing.
- Create, maintain and update work instructions, procedures, and MOC documentation.
- Perform PM, troubleshoot equipment and process issues during prototypes and provide feedback.
