Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Wisconsin seeks an experienced engineering professional to support global electronic assembly operations, with significant onsite time at Mequon and New Berlin facilities. You will lead process standardization, capital deployment, and data-driven optimization within a cross-functional team.

The role emphasizes expert SMT and soldering process knowledge, Lean Six Sigma methods, and collaboration with design teams to improve quality, throughput, and long-term profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• Typically requires 5+ years of related experience.
• BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering with 2–5+ years hands-on electronic assembly manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level leadership in electronic assembly processes.
• Develop and deploy global process standards for electronic assembly.
• Lead capital equipment selection, justification, purchase and deployment.
• Apply DOE, control charts, and statistical analysis for process optimization.
• Collaborate with design teams on DFM/DFA and share knowledge through reviews and documentation.
