Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Electronics Engineer to join our Baltimore-based team. You will support radar hardware/software integration, testing, and sustainment across the product lifecycle, with significant field and lab work.

The role requires strong RF and radar knowledge, hands-on use of test equipment, and the ability to travel domestically up to 50%. This position may require clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years related engineering experience or Master's with 3 years.
  • Strong understanding of hardware/software integration and test.
  • US Citizenship and current/active U.S. Government Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Support radar hardware/software integration, test, and sustainment.
  • Lead or support integration, test, data analysis, and digital instrumentation activities.
  • Interface with internal engineering teams, program leadership, and customer representatives to communicate status and risks.
  • Travel to domestic customer locations (25-50%).
  • Perform RCCA investigations and corrective actions to resolve issues.
