Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Electronics Engineer – Radar in San Diego, CA, onsite with potential hybrid work. You will support radar sensor integration, provide technical oversight, and manage risk across the radar program. Travel up to 25% and collaboration across teams are expected.

Required is a STEM degree with 5+ years (or Master’s 3+; PhD 1+) and strong MATLAB/Python, data analysis, Linux skills. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related experience, or Master’s with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year.
• Strong communication skills, organization, and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with coding/scripting languages (MATLAB, Python).
• Experience with data analysis, system integration, and Linux.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities on the Radar team to build and integrate the Radar sensor on aircraft and ground systems.
• Provide technical oversight and reviews of engineering from Radar suppliers.
• Help manage technical risks, opportunities, and issues.
• Support reporting of status and tasks to IPT leads and program managers.
• Research, design, develop, test, and sustain Radar-related electronics and systems.
• Support testing and integration in lab and production facilities.
