Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing for electronics across North America and internationally.

You will develop category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive value through cost, quality, and delivery improvements. The role requires strong finance and technical electronics background, leadership, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams, including Saab Affiliates abroad.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 8+ years with a BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree, of experience typically in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong financial acumen especially related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics technical background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity category strategies to improve value in Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and Sustainability.
• Lead identification, evaluation, selection, negotiation, and award of first-time contracts for new suppliers.
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics commodities.
• Support supply chain during win business by onboarding critical suppliers.
• Perform market research, analyze trends and SWOT for electronics category.
