Job summary

Saab Inc. is hiring an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing activities for electronics across North America and internationally as needed.

You will develop category strategies, lead supplier negotiations, and manage supplier performance, while promoting responsible and diverse sourcing practices. Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years with a BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree, in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics technical background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity category strategies to improve Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and Sustainability within the supply base.
• Lead supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation, and award for first-time contracts across multiple units.
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics commodities.
• Support supply chain during win business processes by onboarding critical suppliers.
• Perform spend analysis and lead cost-reduction initiatives with supplier agreements.
