Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing for electronics across North America and beyond. You will develop category strategies, identify and award first-time contracts, and manage supplier relations while collaborating with Saab affiliates internationally.

The role emphasizes strong financial acumen, electronics expertise, and leadership to drive cost improvements and risk management within a diverse supplier base.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering required.
• 8+ years with a BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master’s, in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics technical background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity category strategies for Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation and Sustainability.
• Lead supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation and award for new suppliers.
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics commodities.
• Support win-biz by vetting onboarding critical suppliers.
• Analyze data to understand supply base and commodity categories.
• Conduct market research and trend analysis for electronics.
