Saab, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing for electronics across North America and internationally.

The role requires building commodity strategies, supplier evaluation, and cost optimization while collaborating with Saab affiliates and cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates have a strong electronics background, extensive sourcing experience, and the ability to manage risk and supplier performance in defense contexts.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 8+ years with BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree, of experience in Sourcing or Supply Chain.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity category strategies to drive value in Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Sustainability.
• Lead supplier evaluations and negotiations for new suppliers across business units.
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics commodities.
• Analyze spend and identify cost reduction opportunities; support quarterly business reviews.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine near- and long-term needs.
