Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an installer assistant to support the installation and startup of electronic systems. You will follow complex blueprints, move heavy equipment, and work in challenging positions up to 40 feet high.

A valid license and clean record are required, with occasional weekend shifts possible. Daily paperwork submission and strict safety protocols are part of the role, along with a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a leading global building

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and installation specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and startup of electronic systems.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and safety guidelines.
• Carry and move equipment up to 50–70 lbs.
• Work in ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 ft.
• Maintain clean and safe work area; dispose of trash.
• Submit required paperwork daily.
• May work alternate shifts or weekends.
