Job summary

Horizon Bank seeks an Electronic Banking Specialist to join the Central Texas Operations team in Temple, TX. You will support electronic banking products, troubleshoot issues, and help both employees and customers maintain accurate systems and data.

The role requires a service mindset, strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail. You’ll collaborate with teammates and vendors to enhance the online banking experience and ensure compliance with banking policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2+ years of banking experience.
• 1+ years of customer service experience, preferably in banking or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Provide Electronic Banking expertise and support to Horizon Bank employees and customers, including hardware and software troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Assist personal and business customers by phone with online banking access issues, including account lockouts and password resets.
• Respond to customer inquiries received through online banking email channels and provide timely, accurate resolution or escalation.
• Review Electronic Banking maintenance reports to verify the accuracy and integrity of online banking registrations and related account information.
• Generate and review Electronic Banking reports and perform routine data maintenance and cleanup, including inactive users, eStatement changes, and removal of closed accounts from Bill Pay.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and go-to resource for Electronic Banking processes, systems, policies, and procedures across the Bank.
• Create, maintain, and update Electronic Banking procedures and documentation as systems, processes, and requirements change.
• Proactively identify opportunities to resolve recurring issues, improve processes, enhance reporting, and strengthen the overall Electronic Banking experience.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors, including Q2, Jack Henry iPay, Fiserv, CSI, and other service providers, as needed to troubleshoot issues, resolve problems, and support Electronic Banking services.
• Deliver a high level of service to customers and co-workers by responding promptly, communicating effectively, and working to exceed expectations.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations and the Bank’s policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned and/or taken on.
