Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is hiring Electronics Assembly Technicians in Minnesota for a cutting-edge electronics manufacturing team. Work in an ultra-clean, climate-controlled, whisper-quiet facility and take part in building tomorrow’s technology.

We offer multiple shifts with competitive pay: 1st shift $18.00/hour and 2nd shift $19.00/hour. Openings for beginners and experienced workers, with a focus on PCB assembly, SMT monitoring, hand-soldering, and quality inspections.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented and able to follow assembly drawings and instructions.
• Ability to read basic technical documentation and work instructions.
• Comfort with manual assembly, soldering, and quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble PCB components for medical devices and industrial equipment.
• Place small electronic parts accurately on circuit boards before soldering.
• Monitor SMT machinery, feeders, and ovens during production.
• Perform hand-soldering and mechanical assembly of small parts.
• Inspect finished PCBs for defects and maintain production logs.

Shift Schedules & Competitive Pay

We have open positions across multiple shifts to fit your schedule:

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM - $18.00
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30PM-2:00AM - $19.00

Responsibilities

• As an Electronics Assembly Technician, you will play a vital role in building complex printed circuit boards (PCBs) used in medical devices, industrial equipment, and advanced technology.
• Component Placement: Manually place small electronic components onto circuit boards prior to soldering, ensuring exact alignment.
• Machine Operation Support: Help monitor automated assembly equipment, including surface-mount technology (SMT) machinery, component feeders, and ovens.
• Hand Assembly & Soldering: Perform precise hand-soldering and mechanical assembly of small parts using specialized tools, tweezers, and magnifying equipment.
• Quality Inspection: Visually inspect completed circuit boards for defects, missing parts, or incorrect alignment according to strict high-tech quality standards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, digital production logs and follow detailed step-by-step assembly drawings and instructions.
