Aerotek is hiring a Soldering Technician / Electronics Assembler in St. Charles, MO. The role offers a 1st shift, with a pay range of $19-$20 per hour, and a contract-to-hire path.

What You'll Be Doing

• Hand solder and desolder through-hole and surface mount (SMT) components
• Assemble circuit boards, wiring harnesses, and electronic assemblies
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions
• Inspect completed assemblies and perform quality checks
• Troubleshoot and repair defective components when needed
• Utilize soldering irons, microscopes, and precision hand tools
• Follow IPC standards and ESD procedures
• Document repairs, inspections, and production activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous soldering experience required
• Ability to read schematics and assembly drawings
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Experience working with small electronic components
• Electronics assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
• IPC certification is a plus, but not required
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Peters, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
