Aerotek is hiring for an Electromechanical Assembler in Pottstown, PA. The role focuses on electrical assembly and soldering of robots, using small hand and power tools, with testing and troubleshooting of subassemblies.

Job Description

The primary duty of this role is the electrical assembly and soldering using small hand and/or power tools. You will be responsible for the final assembly of robots, as well as testing and troubleshooting of subassemblies and final assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical subassemblies of robots using hand and power tools.
• Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and final assemblies.
• Assemble robots according to provided blueprints, drawings, or schematics.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, specifically with electronics.
• Soldering experience necessary - even just some exposure helps!
• Experience in reading electrical schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, including crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools, and air tools.
• Experience working with circuit boards is a plus, but not necessary.

Work Environment

The headquarters offers a diverse range of facilities, including office, classroom, production, repair, and laboratory spaces, along with a 5,000-gallon test water tank. The 40,000 square feet facility operates on a 1st shift Monday-Friday work schedule.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
