Aerotek in Wentzville, MO is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for the second shift to build and install ladder racks, shelving, partitions and related components into vans. You will use hand and power tools, read assembly diagrams, and follow blueprints to ensure precise fit and finish on every unit.

The role is contract to hire, onsite at our facility. You will work Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays depending on order volume, and you will receive on-the-job safety gear and a competitive

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler for our first shift team. You will play a vital role in assembling and installing various components such as ladder racks, foot runners, partitions, and shelving units into vans. This position requires strong knowledge of hand and power tools and the ability to read assembly diagrams. The role involves working Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays based on order volume.

Responsibilities

• Install ladder racks, foot runners, partitions, and other components into vans.
• Pre-assemble shelving units and start by building cabinets.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
• Read and interpret diagrams similar to furniture assembly instructions.

Essential Skills

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
