Job summary

Kelly is seeking an Electronic Assembler in Dallas, TX to transform welded oven shells into fully functional machines, mount burners and burners assemblies, and wire/control panels. The role requires reading schematics, 24V/120V controls knowledge, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Gas-fired equipment experience is a plus.

The position offers a daytime shift from 7:30am to 4:00pm with pay at $17.50/hour. Candidates with experience in industrial ovens and related controls are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Able to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Working knowledge of 24V/120V controls and single-phase power.
• Experience with gas piping, thread cutting, and approved dope/tape.
• Familiar with using hand tools, conduit benders, pipe threaders, and multimeters.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces for a full shift.
• Preferred experience with industrial ovens, kilns, furnaces, boilers, or comparable gas-fired equipment.

Responsibilities

• Transform welded and insulated oven shells into fully functional, testable machines.
• Mount gas burners and afterburner assemblies; align to specification.
• Set burner blowers, air intakes, and pilot assemblies.
• Mount main control boxes and diagnostic panels.
• Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate control wiring between panels and field devices.
• Wire thermocouples, high-limit switches, gas valves, ignition modules, and related components.
• Follow wiring diagrams and label conductors per print.
• Run gas piping and assemble burner gas trains.
• Install safety shutoff valves, regulators, gauges, and related fittings.
• Run water supply piping and install solenoid valves, strainers, regulators, and spray nozzles.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $17.50 per hour

Shift: 7:30am to 4:00pm

What’s a typical day as an Electronic Assembler? You’ll be:

• Transforming welded and insulated oven shells into fully functional, testable machines.
• Mounting commercial gas burners and afterburner assemblies; aligning assemblies to specification.
• Setting burner blowers, air intakes, and pilot assemblies.
• Mounting main control boxes and diagnostic panels.
• Running conduit, pulling wire, and terminating control wiring between panels and field devices.
• Wiring thermocouples, high-limit switches, gas valves, ignition modules, blower motors, door interlocks, and water-spray controls.
• Following wiring diagrams and labeling conductors per print.
• Running approved gas piping and assembling burner gas trains.
• Installing safety shutoff valves, regulators, gauges, drip legs, and manual shutoffs.
• Running water supply piping and installing solenoid valves, strainers, regulators, and spray nozzles.
• Using hand tools, drills, grinders, screwdrivers, and similar tools.

This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You

• Can read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Have a working knowledge of 24V/120V controls and single-phase power.
• Are experienced with gas piping, thread cutting, and approved dope/tape.
• Know how to use hand tools, conduit benders, pipe threaders, and multimeters.
• Are able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces for a full shift.
• Have reliable attendance.
• (Preferred) Have experience with industrial ovens, kilns, furnaces, boilers, or comparable gas-fired equipment.
• (Preferred) Are familiar with Eclipse, Maxon, Powerflame, or Honeywell burner controls.
• Have previous experience with electronic assembly.
