Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in Brenham, Texas is hiring Electromechanical Technicians focused on industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.

You will diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical and electromechanical systems that support manufacturing operations, including motors, controls, power distribution up to 480V, and related components. The standard 1st shift runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical troubleshooting and electromechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read basic electrical schematics and equipment prints.
• Experience with electrical systems up to 480V and industrial maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Diagnose electrical faults using meters and testing equipment.
• Maintain and repair motors, controls, relays, contactors, transformers, sensors and related components.
• Install and service electrical equipment up to 480V based on position level.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment prints.
• Document repairs and communicate equipment and safety concerns.
