Job summary
Valmont Industries in Brenham, TX is hiring Electromechanical Technicians. This hands-on role focuses on diagnosing, maintaining and repairing electrical and electromechanical systems supporting manufacturing operations, including motors, controls, relays and power distribution up to 480V.
Position levels I–III offer built-in pay progression and shift differential. Evening shift with opportunities for overtime.
Qualifications
- Industrial electrical troubleshooting of 480V systems and related equipment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with motors, relays, contactors, transformers, sensors and control components.
- Willingness to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electromechanical systems.
- Diagnose electrical faults using meters and testing equipment.
- Maintain and repair motors, controls, relays, contactors, transformers and sensors.
- Install and service electrical equipment up to 480V based on position level.
- Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and equipment prints.
- Troubleshoot production equipment to identify electrical and mechanical downtime.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Follow safety procedures and document repairs.
