Job summary
Valmont Industries is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical and electromechanical systems in a manufacturing setting. You will work with motors, controls, transformers, and 480V systems while following lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
Typical shifts are first shift, with possible overtime. Compensation includes step pay increases and an annual discretionary bonus, with multiple technician levels based on experience and education.
Qualifications
- Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to work with 480V electrical systems.
- Reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams is required.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electromechanical systems.
- Diagnose electrical faults using meters and testing equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams and equipment prints.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and document repairs and concerns.
