Valmont Industries, Inc. in Valley, NE is seeking an Electromechanical Technician I for the 3rd shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.).

This hands-on role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems to power energy grids and advance smart infrastructure. You will diagnose motors, drives, relays, sensors, and controllers, read schematics and manuals, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Basic experience or technical training in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Familiarity with industrial tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• The ability to read schematics or technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing motors, drives, relays, sensors, and controllers.
• Reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
