Job summary

Cargill is seeking an Electromechanical Technician I at our Mount Joy, PA facility to perform routine maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant equipment. You will troubleshoot basic automation issues and assist with programming changes to keep production running safely and reliably.

You will read schematics, maintain CMMS records, and support packaging, processing, and utilities across shifts. Candidates should have 1+ year electrical experience, be able to work outdoors/in confined

Qualifications

• US work eligibility (no visa sponsorship)
• Minimum 1 year industrial electrical experience
• Able to read electrical/mechanical schematics and update CMMS
• Work indoors/outdoors, heights, confined spaces, lifting up to 55 lbs

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot machinery, automation, PLC/VFD issues, and restore safe operation.
• Modify equipment programming under guidance and document changes per site procedures.
• Inspect and maintain packaging, processing, storage, and utility systems.
• Interpret schematics and update maintenance records in CMMS.
• Follow safety policies and participate in reliability improvements.
