Job summary

Clopay Corporation in Mountaintop, PA is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician for a 2nd shift (3:00 pm–11:00 pm). You will troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and CNC controllers, wire and assemble control panels, and support maintenance and automation projects across Cornell and Cookson equipment.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Controls and Automation, or a high school diploma with 7–10 years of automation experience in manufacturing. Crane and forklift certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Controls and Automation.
• Or High School/GED with 7–10 years automation experience.
• Licenses/Certification: Crane and Fork trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in trainings and skill development in controls and automation.
• Support software and schematic updates to document Cornell equipment.
• Assist shift to resolve downed equipment.
• Work in Preventive Maintenance, Projects, and machine breakdowns.
• Follow LOTO safety rules and work safely.
• Test repaired control devices and tag dates/condition.
• Complete work orders in Maintenance system.
• Contribute to teamwork and ship/shipmate/self culture.
