Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking an Electromechanical Senior Technician to troubleshoot, repair and replace components in our manufacturing facility. This is a 12-hour rotating night shift (7pm-7am) with C-Team responsibilities.

You will work as a multi-craft technician, using SAP to review work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and support safety, quality and equipment reliability while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Technical college certification or Journeyman in related field with industrial electrical controls experience.
• 2+ years of industrial electrical controls experience; PLC/programming a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and use electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond and assist in recovery and repair of factory installed equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic components using problem-solving techniques.
• Perform preventative maintenance actions per OEM specs, including overhauls, calibration and lubrication.
• Execute corrective actions to support safety, quality and equipment reliability.
• Work with motor controls, PLCs, safety relays and 24Vdc/480Vac systems.
• Use SAP to review work orders, generate requirements and document completion.
• Support autonomous maintenance training for operators.
• Participate in TPM/Lean continual improvement initiatives.
