Job summary

Technimark is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for a 12-hour night shift in Latrobe, PA. You will perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and support automation initiatives in a climate-controlled facility.

You will read drawings, ensure safety compliance with OSHA/NFPA 70, document repairs, and collaborate with Production to minimize downtime and maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous maintenance and/or mechanical experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical prints and drawings.
• Understanding of basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles.
• PLC troubleshooting knowledge or experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach to identifying and preventing equipment issues.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
• Monitor machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Assist with the installation and setup of new or specialized equipment, automation, and robotics.
• Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Inspect and verify that safety systems are functioning properly.
• Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues.
