Job summary

Staffmark recruiting an Electrical Technician in Bethlehem, PA for direct hire. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of PLC-controlled production equipment and facility systems in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Requirements include an Associate degree or diploma in electronics or electromechanical technology with at least 7 years in manufacturing maintenance, plus strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial automation.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of manufacturing maintenance experience in electrical, electronics, and industrial controls.
Advanced knowledge of PLCs, servo drives, HMIs/OITs, instrumentation, and industrial automation systems.
Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience developing, managing, and implementing capital projects.

Responsibilities

Provide high-level electrical and industrial controls support in a fast-paced automated manufacturing environment.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC-controlled production equipment and facility systems.
Design, program, test, and commission industrial automation and control systems.
Lead equipment modernization projects to replace obsolete controls and improve reliability.
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives that reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
