Job summary

Clopay Corporation in Mountaintop, PA, seeks an Electro Mechanical Technician for the 2nd shift (3:00 pm–11:00 pm). You will troubleshoot PLCs, read schematics, and wire control panels for in-house developed machines, with emphasis on safety and documentation accuracy.

The role requires an associate degree in controls and automation or substantial related experience. Overtime and proactive maintenance are expected to keep equipment running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Controls and Automation, or HS/GED with 7–10 years of automation experience.
• Welding, machining, and control panel assembly knowledge to support newly developed machines.
• Ability to read CAD/Product drawings and interpret schematics.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in trainings to develop controls and automation skills.
• Update software and schematics; ensure documentation reflects Cornell equipment.
• Support assigned shift and assist others with downed equipment.
• Work in Preventive Maintenance, projects, and machine breakdowns as required.
• Follow safety protocols including LOTO and test repaired devices before storage.
