Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer within the EW team to own parts of the manufacturing value chain for electro‑mechanical assemblies. You will drive process improvements, partner with Product Quality Engineering on RCCA burndowns, and collaborate with Design Engineering to provide DFx for smooth NPI transitions.

Qualifications

Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or hard science.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design/manufacture.
Experience with Harness or PCBA design review.
Experience delivering electromechanical hardware in resource-constrained environments.
Must have hands-on hardware manufacturing experience (soldering, SMT, harnessing, box assembly).

Responsibilities

Own manufacturing value chain segments including Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T).
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen events.
Collaborate with Quality Engineering to drive RCCA burndowns.
Provide DFx input to enable smooth NPI transitions.
Develop process flows and write work instructions and quality plans.
Coordinate with contract manufacturers for both rapid prototyping and scaling production.
Work hands-on with technicians to build prototype hardware.
Contribute to mechanical/electrical design of end products and interconnects.
