Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA seeks a Senior Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to own parts of the manufacturing value chain for electro-mechanical assemblies, drive continuous improvement, and scale production.

You will collaborate with Design Engineering, work with contract manufacturers, develop DFx for NPI, and ensure quality plans, work instructions, and inspection requirements are prepared. This role demands hands-on fabrication and system AI&T experience.

Qualifications

Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science.
8+ years of experience in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design.
Ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in resource-constrained environments.
Hands-on hardware fabrication experience (machining, soldering, assembly).
Experience with JIRA, Siemens NX, Teamcenter or Oracle or equivalents.
Experience with RF products requiring system AI&T.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Own a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain for electro-mechanical assemblies.
Lead continuous improvement efforts and Kaizen events to boost quality and efficiency.
Collaborate with Product Quality Engineering to drive RCCA burndowns.
Work with Design Engineering to provide DFx for successful NPI transitions.
Develop process flows and document work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements.
Partner with contract manufacturers for repeatable, scalable production.
Work hands-on with technicians to build prototype hardware.
Contribute to mechanical/electrical design, interconnects, and board fabrication.
