Job summary

Anduril is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to own the electromechanical manufacturing value chain, including AI&T for electro-mechanical assemblies. You will drive continuous improvement, collaborate with quality and design teams, and work with contract manufacturers to scale production and prototype development.

The role emphasizes DFx for successful NPI transitions, hands-on hardware assembly, and close partnership with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality systems for defense

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field (engineering, math, or hard science) required.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design.
• Experience with DFx, manufacturing at scale, and RF/AI&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own the manufacturing value chain for AI&T of electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product Quality Eng to RCCA burndowns.
• Provide DFx input for smooth NPI transitions with Design Eng.
• Develop process flows and write work instructions and quality plans.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers for scale-up and rapid prototyping.
• Hands-on build prototype hardware with technicians.
• Support end-customer hardware design including interconnects and board fabrication.
