Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Electromechanical Engineer to drive integration of power, control, and harness subsystems for rugged defense products at our Costa Mesa, CA campus.

You will design mechanical enclosures and electronics packaging, develop wiring harnesses, test across extreme environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver from concept to production. Onsite work and security clearances are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience specifically in electromechanical integration, hardware design, or systems engineering within defense, aerospace, automotive, or robotics.
• Demonstrated expertise integrating electrical components into rugged mechanical assemblies with past design examples.
• Experience with cabling design, wiring harness integration, and electro-mechanical interfaces for rugged/military use.
• Strong engineering first principles across thermal, structural, materials, power distribution, and signal integrity.
• Proficiency with CAD software and producing manufacturing-ready drawings per industry standards.
• BS, M.Eng, MS or PhD in an engineering field.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to export-controlled information.
• Onsite work at headquarters in Costa Mesa, CA.

• Direct Mission Impact: travel to field exercises and work with warfighters for feedback.
• Full Product Lifecycle Ownership: iterate designs from concept to production with manufacturing teams.
