Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the second shift (2pm–10pm EST, Mon-Fri) with a 10% shift differential. The role involves training operators, troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment, rebuilding machinery, calibrating tools, and performing preventive maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical Technology and 2–5 years of relevant experience; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• 2–5 years electro-mechanical equipment experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Train and coordinate machine operators and maintenance staff.
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment and perform adjustments.
• Dismantle, repair, align and calibrate equipment per manuals and plans.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document activities.
• Move, install and source parts as needed; may require overtime.

Education

Associates degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology
