Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician for Jabil in Hanover Park, IL. The role involves troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on electro-mechanical production equipment during a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 2-2-3 schedule).

Overtime opportunities are available. Ideal candidates will have an Associate's degree in electronics and 2–5 years in electro-mechanical maintenance, with CMMS experience and strong reading of schematics and blueprints.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in electronics or equivalent training/education required.
2-5 years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
Experience with CMMS and basic MS Office.
Forklift certification preferred.
Understanding of safety procedures and requirements.
Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Train and coordinate activities of machine operators in maintenance of production equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing.
Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment per manuals and drawings.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document activities.
Calibrate and test equipment using diagnostic tools.
Move or assist in installation of equipment as needed.
Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
Monitor and comply with safety procedures.
Assist with sourcing and ordering parts as needed.
Overtime or on-call may be required.
