Job summary

DOC SERVICES, INC. is seeking Electromechanical Field Service Technicians to perform preventive and reactive maintenance on electromechanical equipment in big box retail stores.

You will work from home base and travel to customer sites across the US, meeting customer and company expectations with a variety of service tasks. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair, plus documentation and parts handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read schematics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and call management software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to equipment repair.
• Must be organized, self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record and proof of insurance.
• Background check required.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable work by maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing equipment.
• Abide by OSHA, customer and DOC safety regulations including PPE requirements.
• Respond to all service calls within customer expectations and DOC requirements.
• Provide all documentation as required by customer and DOC through handheld device.
• Perform cost effective service and repairs while maintaining quality.
• Order the correct parts needed for the repair and maintain inventory.
• Travel to and from customer locations.
• Evaluate preventable service problems and educate customer as directed.
• Other duties as needed.
