Job summary

DOC SERVICES is seeking Electromechanical Field Service Technicians to perform preventive and reactive maintenance on electromechanical equipment in big box stores. You will travel from home to customer sites, respond to service calls, and work to minimize downtime while upholding safety regulations.

The role requires reading schematics, repairing electrical and mechanical systems, and documenting work via handheld devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or combination of training and experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read schematics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and call management software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to equipment repair.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and proof of insurance.
• Satisfactory background check required.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable field service including preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical equipment at client sites.
• Respond to service calls within expected timeframes.
• Order parts and maintain on-hand inventory.
• Document work details using handheld device.
• Coordinate with DSM and provide education or recommendations to customers.
• Travel to customer locations and maintain safety standards.
