Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Product Development Engineer in Clover, SC to design, develop, test, and launch electromechanical and battery-powered products across the full lifecycle, from concept to manufacturing and certification.

The role requires 3-5 years in product design, proficiency with SolidWorks and 3D CAD, and strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills. Day-to-day duties include creating drawings, specs, models, and validation plans.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of product design experience in manufacturing or development.
• Experience designing electromechanical and battery-powered products.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specs, and docs.
• Experience with product testing, validation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge of product certification requirements and lifecycle processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support new product development from concept through production launch.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Customers, Distributors, and Regulators to define requirements.
• Develop engineering drawings, specifications, 3D models, and technical docs.
• Design and evaluate mechanical/electrical product solutions for performance, safety and manufacturability.
• Build, test, and evaluate prototypes; implement design improvements.
