Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking a Product Development Engineer in Clover, SC to help design, develop, test, and launch electromechanical and battery-powered products across the full lifecycle.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 3–5 years of design experience, and proficiency in SolidWorks and 3D CAD, with strong problem-solving and cross-functional teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering.
• Strong knowledge of product development methodologies and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Support new product development from concept through production launch.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Customers, Distributors, and Regulatory Agencies to define product requirements.
• Develop engineering drawings, specifications, 3D models, and technical documentation.
• Design and evaluate mechanical and electrical product solutions based on performance, safety, quality, and manufacturability requirements.
• Build, test, and evaluate prototypes while implementing design improvements based on results.
