Job summary

Saft is seeking a chemical engineering professional to lead process development for electrode fabrication. You will push scale-up from pilot to production, applying Six Sigma and Lean methods to improve yield and reliability.

The role requires collaboration across R&D, manufacturing and suppliers, with hands-on control of equipment, documentation, DOE studies and process optimization to meet customer schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
• Six Sigma methodologies experience.
• Lean manufacturing experience from mechanical side.

Responsibilities

• Scale up formulations from pilot to production.
• Optimize unit operations using DOE and other techniques.
• Collaborate with R&D, suppliers and manufacturing teams.
• Develop and maintain work instructions and process documentation.
• Support production schedules and ensure delivery to customers.
