Saft in the United States is seeking a hands-on Process Development Engineer to support lithium-ion electrode manufacturing. You will scale formulations, optimize unit operations using DOE and Six Sigma, and work with production, R&D and suppliers on new techniques and equipment.

You should have a chemical engineering degree (BS), 0–5 years experience, CAD experience, lean and continuous improvement knowledge, and strong communication.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
• 0–5 years of related work experience.
• Background in Six Sigma methodologies and problem solving.
• Clear communication and strong organizational skills.
• CAD experience and floor support with equipment troubleshooting.
• Lean experience from tooling design to process improvement.
• Experience with slurry mixing, rheology, and material characterization.
• Technical writing and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of configuration management.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with production to meet delivery schedules.
• Scale up formulations from pilot to production.
• Optimize unit operations using DOE and other methods.
• Install and modify production equipment with engineers.
• Work with R&D on new formulations and materials.
• Evaluate new suppliers and introduce advanced techniques.
• Track project tasks for electrode development and manufacturing.
• Observe in-process quality and impact on downstream operations.
• Support aerospace, defense and racing customer projects.
• Liaise with global Saft sites on electrode development.
