bioMérieux seeks an experienced Electronic/Instrument Technician to evaluate, refurbish, assemble, align and test automated electro-mechanical biological systems at an advanced level while maintaining stock levels in a regulated environment.

The role covers sub-assembly and final testing, complex electro-mechanical assembly work, GMP-compliant documentation, and training of senior assemblers and technicians. Candidates should be able to perform advanced tests and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience as Electronic Technician or Instrument Manufacturing Technician.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical functions, advanced laws of electricity, microprocessor and analog systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations accurately and timely.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complicated nature.
• Ensure proper completion of supporting documentation, following GMP guidelines.
• Assist in training of Senior Assembler and other Technicians.
• Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.
• Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
