Job summary

bioMérieux in Valley Park, MO is seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to perform evaluation, refurbishment, assembly, alignment and acceptance testing of automated electro-mechanical biological test systems at an advanced level.

The role requires 3+ years in electronic/instrument manufacturing tech, capable of reading blueprints, performing advanced testing, and adhering to GMP guidelines while maintaining stock and production flow. Occasional training support for teammates is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years as Electronic Technician or Instrument Manufacturing Technician with knowledge of mechanical/electro-mechanical functions, electricity, microprocessors and analog systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations accurately and timely.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complicated nature.
• Ensure proper completion of supporting documentation per GMP guidelines.
• Assist in training of Senior Assembler and other Technicians.
• Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.
• Work in compliance with quality procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
