Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking an Electronic Technician to evaluate, refurbish, assemble and test automated electro-mechanical biological systems at an advanced level. The role includes maintaining stock and performing production tasks within a regulated environment.

Key duties include acceptance testing, complex electro-mechanical assembly, documenting work per GMP, and assisting in training other technicians. Travel is minimal; safety and quality standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience as an Electronic Technician or Instrument Manufacturing Technician including knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical functions.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and assembly procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations accurately and timely.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complicated nature.
• Ensure proper completion of supporting documentation, following GMP guidelines.
• Assist in training of Senior Assembler and other Technicians.
• Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.
• Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
