Job summary

bioMérieux in Missouri is seeking an Electronic/Instrument Technician for evaluation, refurbishment, and assembly of automated electro-mechanical test systems, including acceptance testing and GMP-compliant documentation.

You will train other technicians, perform advanced tests, and work safely within a regulated environment. The role requires a High School Diploma and 3+ years’ experience in related fields.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience as an Electronic Technician or Instrument Manufacturing Technician including knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical functions, advanced laws of electricity, microprocessor and analog systems.
• Detail oriented to complete tasks without errors and produce high-quality work.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and assembly procedures.
• Ability to perform advanced math.

Responsibilities

• Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations accurately and timely.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complicated nature.
• Ensure proper completion of supporting documentation, following GMP guidelines.
• Assist in training of Senior Assembler and other Technicians.
• Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.
• Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
