Job summary

Nestlé USA is hiring a hands-on hourly technical team leader to enable Electro‑Mechanical Technicians to execute the shift maintenance plan safely, effectively, and to standard. This role combines advanced mechanical, electrical, automation, and processing expertise with coordination, coaching, and reliability improvement.

Second shift, weekdays, 2pm–10:30pm, with a $9,000 sign-on bonus. You will lead breakdown responses, coach technicians, and ensure compliance with Nestlé Maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two-year technical degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of maintenance technician experience with technical leadership experience.
• Certifications such as CMRT, CCST, NFPA 70E, or Rockwell Automation training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement daily maintenance activities per standards and oversee shift execution.
• Coordinate priorities and balance planned vs. break-in work; escalate barriers.
• Lead complex breakdown response with safe conditions and organized diagnostics.
• Coach technicians in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and commissioning.
• Provide advanced support for power, control, and safety systems; read schematics and diagnose faults.
• Audit SAP/Prometheus work orders and lead breakdown analysis; improve maintenance baselines.
• Compile end-of-shift metrics and ensure proper handovers.
• Oversee shift traffic and communications; act as backup for Maintenance Supervisor.
• Prioritize work plans during staffing gaps and remove obstacles.
