Job summary

Alliance Laundry Systems LLC is seeking a 2nd Shift Electro Mechanical Technician in Wisconsin. Weekend nights from Friday to Sunday, 4pm–4am. The role designs and tests electrical and PLC circuits, troubleshoots hydraulics/pneumatics, installs controls, and ensures safe operation of machinery.

Competitive hourly pay and a $5,000 sign-on bonus accompany a stable manufacturing environment. Qualified candidates have a 2-year Associate degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience, with CMMS data

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years work experience required.
• Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Design minor electrical circuits and test/troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits for machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Install electrical and electronic controls on machines by reading schematics or blueprints.
• Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures per diagram specifications.
• Perform repairs, installations, replacements and tests of electrical circuits and equipment.

Standard Work Hours:

Weekend Nights Friday - Sunday 4pm - 4am

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $37.28 to $41.56, commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Sign-On Bonus:$5,000 upon successful hiring

Responsibilities

• Design minor electrical circuits and to test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
• Must have knowledge of electrical power, and water distribution systems.
• Must perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Must be able to perform the work of the lower-class identifications.
• May direct the work of others in the lower classifications.
• Must dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures.
• Must install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
• Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.
• Do lay outs, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
• Must mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
• Do repairs, installs, replaces and test electrical circuits, and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
• Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.

Qualifications

What You Need To Succeed:

• Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years work experience required.
• Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.

• Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
