Saputo Inc. is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician to join our team. We are a top 10 global dairy processor committed to high-quality products, investing in our people, and supporting communities worldwide.

Responsibilities include:

1. Mechanical repairs, rebuilding, installation, and construction of facility equipment, including welding, lubrication, cleaning, inspection, plumbing, painting, and general construction. Capable of evaluating equipment operating conditions.
2. Building renovations, modifications, construction, and inspection.
3. Performing minor electrical repairs and motor hook-ups.
4. Preventative maintenance tasks such as lubrication, record keeping, and equipment monitoring.
5. Operating hand trucks, pick-up trucks, and forklifts.
6. Managing maintenance parts and supply inventory.
7. Communicating maintenance issues with relevant personnel.
8. Gathering data, analyzing impacts, recognizing problems, and assisting in maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Proficiency with shop hand tools.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to perform medium to heavy work, including lifting up to 100 lbs., climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and standing/walking frequently.
• Successful completion of Saputo's Pasteurization training within the first week and obtaining a pasteurization certificate within 12 months.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

This position involves a 12-hour night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Starting pay ranges from $33.66 to $35.66 per hour, plus a $1.00 night shift differential. Compensation varies based on experience, education, skills, and training.
