Job Description

Role Overview

To service and support manufacturing operations by maximizing production output through machine repairs, procurement of repair parts, preventive maintenance, safety, and maintaining building systems.

Schedule Options

• Monthly rotation schedule 6-6 (full month day shift, full month night shift)
• 2-2-3 Straight Nights (6p-6a)

Compensation

• $30-$39/hour based on experience + $1.20 night shift premium and 1.5x on Sundays

Responsibilities

• Act as a safety leader, prioritizing safety in all tasks.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Create and understand work orders using SAP.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to maximize output.
• Participate in developmental projects with R&D, manufacturing, and vendors.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement.
• Support on-site technical staff and participate in World Class Operations Management (WCOM).
• Follow procedures, work instructions, and forms as directed by the Key Area Leader.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Good communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)
• Experience with shop tools, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic diagrams
• PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley 500/5000)
• Wiring control and high-power circuits for industrial machinery
• Minimum of a two-year Electro-Mechanical degree
• Preferred: State Indentured Journeyman card as an Industrial Electrical or Maintenance Mechanic
• Experience in an industrial setting with machine processes and team collaboration
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
