Job summary

Andersen Corporation in Locust Grove, GA, is seeking an Electro/Mech Technician to troubleshoot PLCs, drives, servo, HMI, CNC, and MES integration while upholding electrical safety and mentoring peers. You will support production equipment, monitor manufacturing processes, and drive continuous improvement to meet customer and business needs.

Qualified candidates have a 2-year technical degree or equivalent, strong electromechanical experience, and knowledge of NFPA 79 and OSHA safety practices.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent past work experience.
• 10 Years experience in related fields strongly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC and electromechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic prints.
• Knowledge of safety practices such as lockout/tagout.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and support production equipment across PLC, electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Advocate electrical safety programs and mentor technicians.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting for intermediate complexity issues.
• Maintain MES integration and internal networks knowledge.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document work performed.
• Repair and upgrade line equipment and fixtures to improve efficiency.
