Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Auburn, WA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support our manufacturing operations. The role involves diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and completing work orders in a fast-paced plant environment.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or related training, at least 3 years of maintenance experience, and familiarity with safety standards including lock-out/tag-out procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in related field is desired
• Minimum 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
• Able to adhere to safety policies and ensure customer quality
• Must be available for standby assignments and overtime as required
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Willing to train Level I Technicians
• Intermediate knowledge of fabrication (e.g., welding, basic machining)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments
• Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks following instructions
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits and sensors
• Repair PLC inputs/outputs and motor control circuits
• Enter all work completed in the maintenance system
• Monitor and report spare parts usage and order parts
• Adjust equipment based on SPC data and coordinate with QA
• Train new Level I Technicians
