Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support manufacturing operations and keep equipment up and running. You will diagnose and repair electro-mechanical problems, perform detailed equipment setup, and maintain electrical and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced facility.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or related experience, 3-7 years in manufacturing maintenance, and proficiency with Word and Excel. Safety and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or related experience in maintenance.
• 3-7 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• Able to standby for standby assignments and overtime when required.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and maintain mechanical components to keep machines running.
• Understand electrical principles like voltage, current, and resistance.
• Diagnose electrical control circuits and sensors; troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs.
• Implement safety and motor control circuit improvements; operate programmable drives.
• Complete projects adding circuits, new equipment, and relocate machines.
• Maintain and repair pneumatic systems and perform maintenance tasks.
• Enter all work in the computer-based maintenance system; monitor parts usage.
• Adjust equipment based on SPC data and collaborate with QA.
• Train Level I and II technicians in advanced tasks; perform other duties.
