Job summary

Stellantis NV in Auburn, Alabama is seeking an Automotive Cooling System Design and Release Engineer to lead the design, validation, and release of cooling components for gas and electrified vehicles.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage suppliers, and apply APQP, DFMEA, and CAE tools (CATIA V5, Unigraphics NX, Vis Mockup, TeamCenter) to optimize performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of automotive engineering experience focusing on cooling system components for electrified vehicles
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 and/or Unigraphics NX for component design and modeling
• Experience with Vis Mockup and TeamCenter for collaborative design and visualization

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cooling components meet performance, safety, and quality standards
• Create and manage DVP&R and DFMEA documents for cooling components
• Drive program timing milestones by coordinating tasks and resources
• Apply APQP principles to guide development and robust launches
• Utilize CAE tools to optimize component designs for efficiency and performance
• Lead supplier relationships to ensure quality and delivery
• Collaborate with manufacturing, testing, and quality teams to integrate cooling components into vehicle architecture
