Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Sub-system Technical Lead in Michigan to act as the primary technical program manager for cooling systems across vehicle lines. You will ensure cooling performance while meeting cost, weight, schedule, and quality targets, and you will be part of a launch team onsite.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, engaging with suppliers, and driving resolution of technical issues from concept through end-of-life, including changes and value optimization.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience with emphasis on automotive cooling and HVAC components.
• Ability to influence and lead without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical program manager for one or more vehicle lines, coordinating cooling systems with design, program management, engineering, and manufacturing.
• Lead concept studies, packaging, thermal design, cost/weight analysis, prototype procurement, supplier management, tooling kickoff, validation and launch.
• Launch lead for cooling systems during the release phase, triaging and resolving issues and communicating status to stakeholders.
